How it works
As you will know only too well, the recruitment process for temporary workers in the construction industry doesn’t always work that well plus is outdated, slow and expensive.
The WDG service:

It also allows you as a contractor to:
- See the pool of available workers for yourself; and
- Make job offers based on the profiles of workers, their skill sets and their work ethic, reliability and timekeeping.
This is how WDG works:
- Construction workers and contractors register and create a profile.
- As vacancies occur, you as a contractor post details to the service.
- The system then finds suitable workers and alerts the ones that match within minutes. The workers who receive the alert then say yes or no to the job opportunity.
- You are then sent profile details of the workers that meet their criteria and have said yes to the opportunity.
- Based on the profiles information they are sent, you then choose who you wish to hire and negotiations take place in terms of rates of pay and other employment terms.

Invoicing & Admin
Once a worker takes up a position with you, information about the booking is sent to a factoring and umbrella company (an umbrella company acts as the employer to the workers - this is a common practice for agency contractors in the UK).
You log into the system by midday on each Tuesday to complete and electronically sign a timesheet and record a Reliability Score for each worker.
Our factoring company will invoice you and the umbrella company pay the worker.
